The King of Instruments
An organ aficionado sharing his passion with the world
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart referred to the pipe organ by this very title. This instrument has a tremendous history dating back as far as the third century BC. My goal with this website, which was first created around 2006, is to share my interest and passion about the pipe organ as well as anything else that happens to interest me.
The original intent was to share with the world my research about the various pipe organs in the greater Gainesville, Florida area. All this information is provided in the links above, which include the instruments picture(s), its history, and specifications. Please take the time and scroll through the pages reading about these beautiful instruments that I have either studied upon or simply had the chance to play.
The pipe organ is truly a marvelous instrument and one that should be brought out and promoted more to the general public.
